Deanna Holcomb Stephenson Places first in Challenged Sports Championship

Deanna Holcomb Stephenson competed in the mid-Atlantic challenged sports championships in Charleston, WV on May 8th at the UC field. Deanna placed 1st in the shot put division at 1.5. She placed 1st in discus with 9ft 10in and she also placed 1st in Club with a distance of 19ft 4in. Deanna also plays wheel chair basketball from January to March and she received a plaque for the most improved player! Deanna has found a new talent in these sports and wheel chair basketball following a tragic car accident. Deanna has made some wonderful improvements, Thanks be to God for helping her accomplish these goals. Deanna didn’t give up after her accident; she pushed on and is still accomplishing her goals. Her family and friends are very proud of the accomplishments she has made!
