Clay was well represented at The West Virginia State Police and Ronald McDonald House Charity McTrooper 5K run/walk held on October 12th. Members of Clay County 911, Big Otter and Clay Volunteer Fire Departments and members of the Workman family were present at the event. The run supported and promoted the House’s mission of providing a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. The proceeds from the race will help fund the construction of a new Ronald McDonald House in Charleston.
