Jimmy McKinney

Belva, WV – Jimmy McKinney, 67, of Belva, entered into rest Thursday, May 8, 2014.

Born April 4, 1947 in Taylor, he was the son of the late Sherman and Polly (Hamrick) McKinney.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Silman, Donald and Bob, sisters, Erma Ramsey, Nova Young and Dorlene Workman

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Barbara McKinney of Belva, sons, Michael McKinney of Charleston, David McKinney of Dog Run, step-son, David Hill of Twenty Mile, step-daughters, Julia Hill of Oak Hill and Amy Nichols of Gauley Bridge, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren, sisters, Deloris Adkins of Clay, Brenda Kyle of Mt. Nebo, Sandra Gray of Harrison and Lucille James and brother, Dale McKinney both of Dog Run; Mother-in-law Dena Fitzwater of Dixie.

Funeral Service was held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial was in the Ramsey Cemetery, Dog Run. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome
