Spencer, WV – Betty Deems, 70, of Spencer, entered into rest Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

Born October 30, 1943 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Sadie Eagle. In addition to her parent she was also preceded in death by her brother, Edmond Eagle and sisters, Verne Pringle and Lena Smith.

She is survived by her husband Ernest Deems of Newton, sisters Tracy Grose of Fl., Nancy Smith of Oh, Fay Tanner of Ivydale, brothers, Charles Eagle of Penn., Jim Eagle of Tx, And Dorsal Eagle of Oh.

Funeral service was held 1:00 P.M. Monday, 12, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Ronald Fisher officiating. Burial was in the Deems Cemetery.
