West Virginia University Continuing and Professional Education has revamped our course offerings for the new year. Registrations for the spring 2016 term are currently open and students can explore in-depth the subject areas that matter most to them.
The updated course catalog lists hundreds of online courses enabling adult learners to pursue areas of interest that will expand upon their existing knowledge base, skill sets, or enhance their professional marketability through noncredit classes or certificate programs.
“Our course portfolio is stronger than previous years with more targeted classes for career development,” said Sherry Kuehn, coordinator of Continuing and Professional Education. “One program—pharmacy technician—even has externship assistance available, which is something that we haven’t offered before.”
There are certificate programs such as Google tools, non-profit administration, and pharmacy technician career preparation, as well as individual skills classes in computer software, grant writing, and forensic science. With the convenience of online learning, students can access their courses at any time of day throughout the term.
See the complete catalog and register online at http://continuinged.wvu.edu. WVU Continuing and Professional Education provides professional and personal enrichment for the lifelong learner and is a unit of Academic Innovation. For additional information, call 1-800-253-2762
