The last day for new students to register for the spring semester at New River Community and Technical College has been extended until Wednesday, Jan. 13.
Spring semester classes begin on Jan. 19. Students are advised to contact the Office of Admissions as soon as possible to complete paperwork required to sign up for courses. The College will be closed for employee training on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
New students planning to attend in the spring should submit their application for admission by clicking on the “Apply Now” tab at www.newriver.edu. The application form also may be printed and mailed or completed at the Office of Admissions on any of the College’s campuses.
After applying for admission, any student seeking financial aid must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov, using school code 039603. A student must be fully admitted in order for financial aid or loans to be processed and awarded.
New River CTC is an open admissions institution, which means that the College is committed to providing educational opportunities to all persons regardless of previous educational background or preparation. For more information, please contact 1-866-349-3739.
New River Community and Technical College serves nine counties in southeastern West Virginia from the Greenbrier Valley Campus (Lewisburg), Mercer County Campus (Princeton), Nicholas County Campus (Summersville), and Raleigh County Campus (Beaver/Beckley).
