Read Aloud 3 Read aloud 2 Read Aloud 1Preschool is an important time for kids to learn the basics like spelling their name and their alphabet and how to count. Lizemore Elementary has asked a few parents to volunteer their time and to come to class and read a story to the kids. This helps promote literacy for the children. This was the first time the preK class has had a read aloud since school started and parent Christian Elliott dressed up as an Indian and read to the students. She read ‘One Little, Two Little, Three Little Pilgrims’ by B. G. Hennessy about the pilgrim children and Indian children and how they had Thanksgiving since Thanksgiving is in November. The kids really enjoyed listening about the pilgrims and Indians and then making an Indian head band and feathers and all the decorations.
