Congratulations to  19-year-old  Avvyella Bragg (Hannah Little) who is graduating from Berea College with a degree in theater.

Bragg has received the Anna Mae and Phyllis Schumaker Endowed  Labor Award from Berea College, the Olive Ruth Russell Fellowship for academic excellence, and the Elizabeth D. Gilbert Fellowship for academic performance and professional promise, which she will use to attend graduate school at the University of Kentucky where she will study library and information sciences.

Bragg is the daughter of Clifton and Margaret Bragg of Ivydale and the wife of Christopher Jansen, also a Berea College graduate.

Also graduating is Clay High graduate Sierra Marling, wife of Brett Arthur and mother of Gavin and Amelia. Marling’s honors include membership in Iota Iota Iota Women’s Studies Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society and the Emerging Scholar Program. Future plans include law school, after serving an internship in public relations at FAHI.

Both Bragg and Marling are graduating on the dean’s list at Berea College, where they received full tuition scholarships.

They have a lot to be proud of .
