Elk River Boutique Now Open

By: Betty Lee

New businesses are making their way to Clendenin. In the past few weeks, several old, ran-down buildings and vacant, flood damaged store fronts are starting to come down.  Crews are working to allow more space for up-and-coming businesses as the Elk River Trail system continues to grow, with many hopeful this will bring in more revenue for the town and make it a tourist destination.

Now located on Main Street is the Elk River Boutique.  They have partnered with local businesses, crafters, and vendors to offer a huge selection of items. This business held its open house last week and hopes to continue to add to inventory.

Elk River Boutique and Venue has something for everyone, from handmade jewelry, sweet treats, candles, tarts, women’s and children’s clothing, and more being added. Stop in and shop, or visit their Facebook page at Elk River Boutique, or online at www.elkvierboutique.com.
