Saturday evening, people gathered at the Clay High Auditorium to support a clay county native, sponsored by the CCHS Class of ‘68. Dartanya Butcher graduated from Kent State University with a degree in fashion design. She has designed some beautiful clothes and a fashion show was held to show her clothing designs off. With entertainment from Rebecca Jarvis and Adria Watson, the fashion show followed. There were 15 girls who modeled Dartanya’s clothes. Hayley Ramsey and Jada Taylor Adkins were just two of the beautiful young women to assist in modeling Dartanya’s clothing line. Dartanyas senior collection won critic’s choice award from Robert Tagliapietra and Jeffery Costello.
