The Clay County Little League is wrapping up their 2022 season. The Little League had 244 kids signed up to play this season, from t-ball through senior league.  It was a year of firsts for the league with a senior league baseball and softball team, as it has been years since this has been possible.

Also a first in many years, the league has an all star baseball and softball team that will play a round of games in the upcoming weeks with the possibility of going to states.  Teams were formed from all major league softball and baseball teams within the league and one team was formed to represent Clay County in the All Star games.

The League would like to thank the community, volunteers, coaches, parents, sponsors, and all who have made this year a success for the youth of Clay County.  The end of year banquet is scheduled for June 26.
