December 2 – Begin decorating for the North Pole Contest. Everyone (businesses, individuals, churches, clubs) invited to enter. The first place pole winner will have their name engraved on a plaque they will keep for one year, but more importantly…… they will have bragging rights and get to “dog” the losers! There is no charge to participate – Call 587-4166 for pole assignment.
December 7 – 12:00 – Christmas Parade, free hot chocolate and toy give away on Courthouse Square. Please call to register entries for the parade. There will be a $$$$ prize for the 1st place entry!!!!
December 7 – 2:00 – 6:00 – Attention all Crafters, Bakers and Candlestick Makers! There will be a Christmas Bazaar at the BDA building in Two Run. Bring your jellies, jams, baked goods, crafts, etc. Space $10.00, tables an extra $5.00. This will be a great venue for sellers to make some extra $$$$ for Christmas and for shoppers to purchase some great gifts! Call 587-4166 today to reserve space!
December 7 – 2:00 – 6:00 – Bonfire & Caroling in BDA building lot. We have it on good authority that Santa will be flying over that evening doing a “dry” run. We do not want him to miss our little town so we will build a bonfire big enough for him to see! Mrs. Claus will be on hand to accept Christmas “wish lists” to deliver to Santa. Area churches are invited to come and help lead the singing. This event is free! Bring a chair and join us!
December 16 – North Poles will be judged. Please have poles up by noon.
December 30 – North Poles removed.
