Lawrenceville, GA – Ollin C. Moore II, known as O.C., 71 of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away peacefully February 7, at his home surrounded by his family after a 4 month battle with cancer.
He was born in Clay, WV to Ollin C (Brownie) and Nellie Burroughs Moore, and graduated from Clay County High School in Clay.
After graduating, he served four years in the United States Air Force and was in Vietnam.
His is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roberta (Bobbie), son Jeremy and grandsons Ethan and Michael; a sister, Betty Ann Husk (Ed) of Davisville, WV, a brother Jonny D. Moore (Barbara) of Jacksonville, Florida and a special cousin, Margaret Stapleton (John) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Two uncles, Okey Burroughs of Clay, WV and Paul Johnson (Garnett) of Conway, SC.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There were to be no services.
It didn’t matter where O.C. Lived, Clay was home! He enjoyed coming back for his class reunions and the Apple Festival.
