SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. – BridgeValley Community and Technical College will host its 2026 STEAM Academy from Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, on the College’s South Charleston campus.
Made possible through the generous support of the Kanawha Valley Mining Institute and Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia, the academy provides rising fifth through eighth grade students with an engaging week of hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
Throughout the week, students will participate in interactive experiments, creative design projects, engineering challenges, technology demonstrations, and collaborative activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork while introducing them to the exciting possibilities of STEAM education and future career pathways.
