The Mustangs baseball team is blazing a trail straight through anybody who has a dream of beating them. Honestly, I don’t think they would have trouble with a high school team. Their gloves are as big as wash tubs so hardly nothing gets by them. It wouldn’t matter if the baseball was the size of a marble and clear as glass, this team will hit it. The boys have not lost a game this season, and they are disciplined and focused on the game at hand. This past week they had one of the toughest games they will have all year when they played Madison. Madison was a team that was undefeated with no intention of losing to the Mustangs. It was a tough match that went 10 rounds, and the winning knockout was hammered by the Mustangs giving them the win by the score of 4-3. The winning pitcher was Colton Moore who brought the stuff from the mound. Zach Wynn crossed the dinner plate for two of the runs while Alex Grose and Jack Edwards had one each. They also had two other games in which they held school on the finer arts of baseball. They toasted Walton 16-1 and followed that up with a win against Hamlin 13-0. If you want to see some great baseball action, come and watch the Mustangs. You won’t be sorry that you did. Check the schedules for a game near you.
