Lucas Hamrick receives his official white coat signifying his commitment to Osteopathic medicine.

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine celebrated its 13th annual White Coat Ceremony and Convocation this past Saturday. Lucas Hamrick, a 2010 graduate of Clay County High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Charleston, received his white coat to signify his journey into the Osteopathic medical profession. Lucas, along with nearly 220 other students from all over the world, took the oath of commitment to learn, be compassionate, be in service to people and that they will always be part of the cause of human and scientific endeavors. Lucas joins three other Clay County graduates, Jeana Church, Adam Ferrebee, and Tiffany White, in the pursuit of becoming an intricate part of the Osteopathic medicine world. Congratulations to Lucas Hamrick and the others; the world needs great doctors and no doubt they will come from Clay County.
