University of Charleston names local students to the Dean’s List

The University of Charleston has named 400 students from the to the Fall 2013 Dean’s List. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Local students who have earned a spot on this list are: Alexander Butcher from Duck, Jared Casto from Wallback, Sandra Dean from Duck, Jessica Fitzwater from Procious, Mary Fluharty from Leroy, Grayson Hamrick from Maysel, Lucas Hamrick from Maysel, Ryan Metz from Spencer, Eva Naylor from Clay, Joseph Reed from Newton and Cassandra Richards from Spencer

The University of Charleston is a private, independent college based in Charleston, W.Va. The University recently announced the opening of new locations in Beckley, W.Va., Martinsburg, W.Va., and online which opened January 1, 2013. For more information, visit: www.ucwv.edu
