Redemption for the Lady Mustangs

pic2-1The Lady Mustangs have done it! With an awesome display of basketball, they took the Lady Knights of Braxton to school.  If you remember, it was the Lady Knights who, last year in the championship, ended the long winning streak of the Lady Mustangs.  They also took the gold to their house and now it is time to bring it back this year.  The Lady Mustangs would not allow a repeat of that defeat on their own turf.  It was a tough game, but the Lady Mustangs took the game to the streets, playing all out ball on a full court press most of the game.  The Lady Mustangs stepped up to their level of game, setting the table on each offensive play and did a good job of getting the ball to the enforcers underneath.  The Lady Knights couldn’t seem to keep the ball offensively – the Lady Mustangs stole the ball and kept the Lady Knights off their game.  In the end, the Lady Mustangs finished the game by the score of 31-20.  The Mustangs were also in action against Geary.  They left that game as winners, too.  They will be at home on the 16th and playing Summersville; it should be a great game.  The Lady Mustangs will begin a three game road trip starting at Summersville on the 17th and will not be back at home till after the new year.
