Barker battles for position.
Barker battles for position.

The Lady Panthers massacred the Lady Eagles of Braxton with an awesome display of drilling the hoop that seemed automatic.  McKinzee Barker and Katelyn Horrocks was the deep threats, sinking threes like a submarine.  They Lady Panthers worked the boards pretty hard not allowing the Lady Eagles much of a chance on rebounds, and they scored on most of the keepers.  Offensively, the Lady Panthers kept the hoop hot inside the key, outside the key, under duress it didn’t matter, the net was getting burned.  Four players were in double digits with Katelyn Horrocks getting the ace award with 13 points followed close by Payton Lucas, McKinzee Barker and Summer Alley.  The Ladies competed in a tournament in Williamstown on Saturday and placed second.  The Lady Panthers look strong, and if they can keep their sharpshooting skills dialed in and not crust over, this season could be very interesting. Only time will tell.  The Lady Panthers are back at home this week on Wednesday evening and on the road at the Civic Center on Friday night.  Game times Wednesday 7:30 pm and Friday at noon.  Good Luck Lady Panthers.
