The CCHS track team participated in the County Shop Invitational in Oak Hill.  The team got there a little late but was able to compete regardless.  It was once again as cold as it could get with the north winds helping winter to hang around a little while longer.  It was a good event none the less for the Panthers. The dream team of Young, Tanner, Daniels, and Armes took first in the 4×400 relay with the time of 3:57:77; one of the toughest runs in a track meet.  Trevor Armes also took second in the 400 meter dash with the time of 52.75, just 0.03 out of the first place.  Jarred Young hit 5’ 2” in the high jump for 6th place.  Michael Rhodes took third in the shot put with a toss of 37’ 7.5”.  The team will head to Roane County for the LKC South Challenge on Tuesday, April 12th.
