The Lady Panthers pounded the courts this past week defeating both Roane County and Webster County.

The Roane game was a different matchup than their earlier meeting. The first time these two teams met, it was ugly from the start with both teams not scoring well and Roane County outlasting the Lady Panthers to win 39-45. However, it was a different Lady Panthers team this time; they played hot enough to melt winter right off the calendar. They came out shooting and putting points on the boards. In the end, it was the Lady Panthers dominating the game and winning by the score of 64-49.

Sarah Boggs was the ace in the matchup, scoring 24 points.

Webster came to town, and it was a shellacking by the Lady Panthers. When the smoke cleared from that one, it was the Lady Panthers 87, Webster 27.

The Lady Panthers will play away at Tolsia before bringing it back home against the Lady Huskies of Hoover on Wednesday night; it will be senior night as well.

Go Lady Panthers!
