The Lady Mustang team took to the court and defeated Webster in two straight games. Webster and Geary took to the courts and Webster fell to Geary in two straight games.
After a break, the Lady Mustangs came out pumped up and ready to deliver Geary to the loser’s circle. The Lady Mustangs did not disappoint the fans at all; they played like a team bent on taking on anybody and taking them down. The Lady Mustangs won the first game fairly easily, and the second game was a neck and neck. The Lady Mustangs ended the hopes of Geary by defeating them in two straight games. Lexi Gilliland was top gun with eight serving aces. If you get the opportunity and want to see some good volleyball action, go to a Lady Mustang game; you won’t be disappointed. The Mustang football team had a close game against Walton on Thursday evening and pulled out the win by the score of 38-24. The boys will go head to head at home against Poca on Thursday evening. The Lady Mustangs will be back on the courts at home with a rematch against Geary on Monday night and again at home on Tuesday against Calhoun.
