It is the final week of Little League baseball and softball action at Dundon before All Stars competition begins.

Saturday was the start of the county-wide tournament to determine the best of the best in Major and Minor League baseball and softball. The first round of the tournament started on Saturday and will continue on Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.

The Major teams will compete, and the losers from this past Saturday will go head to head first. Minor League softball will be playing on the opposite field on the same evening. Then, the winners from Saturday will go at it starting at 7:45 p.m.

On Thursday evening, Major softball will play at 5:45 and Major baseball will play at 6 o’clock. The winner from game three and the loser from game four will play.

It all comes to a conclusion this Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. as the T-Ball teams of Lizemore B will go up against Ivydale. At 12 p.m., Lizemore A will play Valley Fork. At 1p.m., Clay will play Procious.

Minor League baseball also gets into action at 1 p.m.  and finishes with a game at 2 p.m.  The final game of the Major league baseball will be played at 3 p.m. The final games for Minor League softball and Major League softball will be at 4 and 6 p.m.
