Ruby Ethel Comer DeMoss

Richmond, VA – Ruby Ethel Comer DeMoss, 100 years of age of Richmond, Virginia formerly of Widen, went home to be with the Lord Friday May 23, 2014. She was the daughter of the late George William and Mary Jane Shaffer Comer and was born in Clay County February 26, 1914.

Ruby was also preceded in death by her loving husband Norman DeMoss and two sons Kenneth (Bud) and Paul DeMoss.

She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Evan) Lafferty , Mechanicsville, VA, Mike (Kathy) DeMoss, Shelia Farmer, all of Richmond, VA; Sharon (Harold) King, Shirley Holcomb, all of Uniontown, Ohio. 16 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great Grandchildren

Ruby was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Strange Creek. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
