Roy “Easy” Leo Love

Vermillion, OH – Roy “Easy” Leo Love, 67, of Vermillion, Ohio, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home after a two year battle with cancer.

He was born January 9, 1947 in Clay; he was the son Ernest and Oleta (Mullins) Love. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, James E. Love.

Roy had been a Vermilion resident for the past 30 years; he worked for Ford Motor Co. Lorain as an inspector for 35 years, retiring in 2000, he was member of the UAW Local #425 and enjoyed shooting pool and reading.

He is survived by his companion of 10 years, Yvonne Dodson of Vermilion; sons, Kevin (Dawn) Love of Indiana and Kory (Jordan) Love of Sandusky; daughters, Debra (Sam) Tanner and Sandra Love both of WV; 4 grandchildren; brother, Denny Love and sister, Linda Williams both of WV.

The family received friends on Thursday, January 30, 1014 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 345 South Street, Vermillion. Funeral services were held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Lee Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.

The family suggests memorial contributions to America Cancer Society Ohio Division Inc., 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
