Duck, WV – Robert Lee Wilkinson, 76, of Duck, passed away Saturday, November 16, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Weston.
He was a retired mechanic. Born April 4, 1937, in Braxton County, he was the son of the late James Franklin and the late Florence (Talkington) Wilkinson.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean (Cart) Wilkinson of Duck; sons, Charles W. Wilkinson of Cleveland, Ohio and Eddy L. Wilkinson of Westland, Mich.; daughter, Velma Bowman of Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Wilkinson of Calif.
Service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial followed in Moorefork Cemetery at Big Otter.
Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com
