Lois S. Wilson

Lois S. Wilson, 85, of Parkersburg, formerly of Clay, entered into rest Saturday, November 9, 2013.
Born June 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Newlon and Eula (Hardway) Sutton.
Lois and her late husband, Carl L. Wilson, established Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, in 1963.
She is survived by her son, Carl L. (Patricia) Wilson II of Shallotte, N.C.; daughters, Frances Kay (Richard) Volkert of Verona, N.J., Janet S. (Jefferson) Workman of Fayetteville and Joyce L. (Ray) Ferrebee of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Webster of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and brother, Kent N. (Trudy) Sutton of Amherst, Ohio.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, at Clay Memorial Gardens, Clay, with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay.
