Reva I. Snodgrass

Melbourne, FL – Reva I. Snodgrass, 95, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Spencer, died October 18, 2015, at the Vitas Hospice at Courtenay Springs, Merritt Island, Fla.
She was a retired employee of the Spencer State Hospital and attended the Epling Chapel Baptist Church, Looneyville.
Survivors include her children, Ed Asbury, Patsy Sue Miller Shannon and Peggy Lou Kelly all of Melbourne, Fla.; four sisters, Dorothy Keener and Glada Lanham both of Clay, Myrl Bailey of Spencer and Nancy Lambey of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; two brothers, Bud Nelson of Valley City, Ohio and Jerry Nelson of Clay; nine grandchildren, Allan Miller of Clover, Teresa Kelly Moscrip, Missy Miller, Chris Kelly and Bob Miller all of Melbourne, Fla., Mike Asbury of Chicago, Ill., Dr. Mindy Asbury of Durham, N.C., Zak Wines of Ripley and Breanna Fouty of Parkersburg; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; honorary children, Fred Boothe of Sissonville and Jane Craddock of Barboursville.
Reva was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Asbury and Frank Snodgrass; children, Michael Thomas Asbury and Frankie Jane Wines Fouty; sisters, Madeline Adams and Catherine Thorn Barger; brother, Virgle Nelson.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial was in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
