Duck, WV – Peggy Ross, 78, of Duck, entered into rest Thursday, October 22, 2015.
Born February 24, 1937 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Creed and Daisy (Bragg) Truman. In addition to her parents Peggy was also preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Ross.
Peggy is survived by her son, Michael Wood, daughters, Lucinda Wertz and Lanae Chatteau all of Ohio, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Denver Truman of Akron, OH, Jarrel Truman of Harrison; sisters, Euna Cruickshanks of Duck, Shelva Mihalis of Grafton OH, and Jennifer Cruikshank of Strange Creek.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Linn Schiefer officiating. Burial was at 2:00 P.M. in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, Ohio on Monday, October 26, 2015.
