Widen — LeRoy Keith Hamrick, 87, of Widen, passed away on April 18, 2017, at Summersville Regional Medical Center, Summersville, WV.
He was born March 15, 1930, in Eakle, WV, the son of the late Benjiman Randolph and Clara Ocie Bleakney Hamrick. Also preceding him in death were his son, Michael Keith Hamrick; brothers, Benjiman Carsel Hamrick, Clarance Randolph Hamrick, Clayton Hamrick and Howard Hamrick; and a sister, Erma Connor.
LeRoy was a retired coal miner, Baptist by faith and a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Potasnik Hamrick; and a brother, Dale Hamrick, of Sutton.
Private family services were held Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Tinney officiating. Burial followed at Canfield Cemetery, Canfield, WV.
