He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Maxine. He was born in Raleigh County WV. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons, sons of William Henry and Debbie Burchett, Indore, WV., John Henry Burchett, July 26, 2982 and Matthew Henry Burchett April 26, 1985. He is survived by his second wife Patty Nester Smoot, daughter Debbie Burchett, and son Ricky Smoot of Charleston WV. Also granddaughter Elisha Dawn Gould and husband Nathan of Melbourne Fl. There was no service; he was cremated per his wishes.
