of my old home
Memories of family
A time, all my own.
There were jobs and work
for many years
There were dreams and hopes
And sometimes some tears.
There were babies I held
close to my breast
Oh, yes, I have memories
Some of the best.
My life has a meaning
Listen and see
My memories prove it
They are precious to me.
