Frametown, WV – Glenna Mae (Cayton) Smith, 77, of Frametown, WV, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2015. She was born on April 12, 1937 in Knowles Creek, Orlando, WV to the late Thadeus Darius Cayton and Lizzie Edith (McCauley) Cayton of Duck, WV, who survives her.

Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Smith, who passed away on March 6, 2007. She is also preceded in death by her son in law, Dale Eddie; brothers, Paul, Denzil, and Dale Cayton.

Those left to honor her memory are sons, Barry Williston and wife Judith of Elyria, OH, Eric Williston and wife Laureen of Sheffield Lake, OH; daughters, Leila Eddie of Frametown, WV, Joyce Stock, nee Williston and husband Daniel of Rocky River, OH, Andrea Bocard, nee Williston and significant other Dale Beetler of Lorain, OH. Also surviving are brothers, Earl Cayton, Delbert Conrad, and John Henry Cayton; sisters, Leila Gaye Blake, Carolyn Riffle, and Brenda Conrad; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Glenna enjoyed reading, quilting, playing bingo and bowling. She loved people, especially children. She had taken 13 foster children into her home over her lifetime, and always made time to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived in various places over her life, such as Ohio and South Carolina, but always found her way home to Braxton County. She loved to cook, hated to be tickled, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Glenna deeply loved her family, and will be missed by all.

The family received friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home at 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd. in Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral services followed visitation at 3:00p.m at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Cayton officiating.

Words of comfort and fond memories may be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com.

The Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home of Flatwoods is honored to be serving the Smith Family.
