Connie Reid Obit  Dumfries, VA – Mrs. Connie L. Beasley Reid, 65, of Dumfries, Virginia passed away on December 20, 2014 after a long illness. Mrs. Reid is the former Connie Lenora Beasley of Clay County, WV. She was the daughter of Mrs. Wilma D. Beasley of Maysel, WV. She was a 1967 graduate of Clay County High School of Clay, WV. She was a retired worker with the federal government in Washington, DC, having worked for the Department of the Navy, Department of the Interior and Park Service. Preceding her in death was her mother, Wilma Beasley of Maysel, WV, brothers Dallas Beasley, Eugene Beasley and infant sister Cleadieth Beasley. Surviving are her beloved husband of 44 years, John T. Reid, Brothers Tom Beasley of Clay, WV, Ronnie Beasley of Clay, WV and Lloyd Beasley of Maysel, WV, Sister Juanita M. Reed of Maysel, WV and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Quantico National Cemetery in Quantico, Virginia on December 26, 2014. Her heart was bigger than she, a giver not a taker. A generous person and a Christian lady in every sense of the word. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. We will miss her till our last breath and may you rest in peace in the Master’s arms where you no longer know pain. We love you and wish you could have stayed longer with us, our most precious only sister. Love always, your sister Juanita and your brothers Tom, Lloyd and Ronnie.
