Cecil Ray Shepherd, 62, of Mt. Nebo, passed away November 22, 2017 at home.
He was born March 11, 1955 a son of the late Guy Robert and Charlotte Ann Nichols Shepherd. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Ray Shepherd; sisters, Sandra Belt of Clendenin and Irene Morris of Sutton.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Shepherd, Jr. and Kenneth Lee Shepherd; sisters, Phyllis Ann Paintiff and Edith Kay Hall.
A service was held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Rev. Bob Paintiff officiating. Interment followed at the Paintiff Cemetery, Upper Sleith.
