Blanch McCune

Blanch (Neff) McCune, 88, of Lizemores, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 8, 2017.

Born June 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Julemmy (Bragg) Neff.  In addition to her parents, Blanch was also preceded in death by her husband, John Morris McCune;  sons, Bud, Charlie and Jimmy McCune; daughters, Charlene McCune and Mary Barker and granddaughter, Teresa McCune; brothers, Roy and Troy Neff; sister, Fonda Nicholas.

Blanch was a member of the Lizemores Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her daughters, Janie, Barbara Crawn, Becky (Roger) Elmore, Linda (Rick) Bartsch, Lisa (Bobby) Canterbury and Tina (Ronald) Richards; sons, Jackie (Tammi) McCune and Johnny McCune, daughter-in-law’s, Sandra and Brenda McCune; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Taylor and Shirley Davis; brothers, Ray, Orgle and Woodie Neff.

The family would like to thank Hospice nurses, Angie, Sonja and Edie.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, December  12, 2017, at Sunrise Cemetery, Beechy Ridge, with Minister John Bill Brown officiating.
