Clay, WV – Arlene Elizabeth Walker, 94, of Clay entered into rest Sunday, September 15, 2013.
Born March 24, 1919 in Dorfee, she was the daughter of the late Walter Pierson Sr. and Anna Margret (Legg). In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Denver Walker, 1 grandson Homer Denver Graham III, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
She was retired from Clay Elementary as a teacher’s assistant, a member of Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall.
Arlene is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay (Homer) Graham Jr.; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Melinda Pierson, Wanda Longacre, and Catherine Davis.
There was a memorial service at 4:30 PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Markle Cemetery at Beechy Ridge, with Minister Homer Graham officiating.
There will be a second memorial service 1:00 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Clendenin, with Brother Roger Dings speaking.
