Britt Combs, Sr.

Gauley Bridge, WV – Britt Combs, Sr., 95, of Gauley Bridge passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Ansted Center.
He was a laborer for Union and Carbide of Alloy.
Born June 23, 1918 in Harlan, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Buck and Martha Walker Combs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Marie Combs; son, Joseph Combs, Jr.; and two grandsons, Ottis Combs and Charles Hall, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Britt Combs, Jr. of Oak Hill, Mable Hall of Newport, KY, Edward (Vernice) Combs of Scarbro, and Shirley Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Michael Combs, Candy Mosley, Sissy Combs, Britt Combs, III, Donna Combs, Nona Louise Hall, Edward Hall, Jeanette Martinez, and William Johnson; and a host of great-grandchildren and other loved ones.
