Annamae (Boggs) Dawson

Annamae (Boggs) Dawson, of Weston, WV has entered into final rest at her home surrounded by loving family, on Friday, October 13, 2017. Annamae was born June 1, 1938 in Hallsburg, WV, to Henry Clay Boggs and Gladys Marie (Bell) Boggs, and widow of Reverend Nelson Perry Dawson; brothers John Bryne Boggs of Nebo, WV (deceased), Richard Nolan Boggs of Ivydale, WV (deceased), Roger Lee Boggs of Elmira, WV (deceased), and Henry Clay Boggs of Glenville, WV.

Sisters: Geraldine Dennison of Goshen, OH and Lorene Riley of Preston, WV (deceased) and Jesse Marie Dennison of Gassaway, WV (deceased), and Mary Helen Stewart of Belpre, OH, and Laura Wanita Mollohan, of Nebo, and Martha Kay Deems of Clay, WV.

Mother of five surviving children:  Anna Marie Dawson of Weston, WV, Pamela Sue Tanner (Rick) of Nebo, WV, Libby Jean Dawson of Buckhannon, WV Daniel Nelson Dawson (Jackie) of Grantsville, WV and Darrel Alan Dawson (Deanna) of Ivydale, WV.

With thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, Annamae cherished her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Annamae was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister and loved by all. Annamae was a factory worker, foster parent, preacher’s wife, and a Christian who loved reading her Bible.

The family wants to thank Deanna Dawson, Michelle Graff, Marie Dawson and Nichole Metheney for their loving care of Annamae in the last few years.

Annamae donated her body to the Human Gift Registry for Anatomical study in the advancement of scientific and medical education and research.
