With Clay County being without a full-service grocery store for a few years now, finding a place to purchase fresh meats and other items has been nearly impossible. Sarah and BJ Williams recognized this need and jumped into action, opening Small Town Market on Main Street.

The William’s wanted to focus on the needs of their hometown and offer a variety of locally grown products at affordable prices.  They sell beef, pork, chicken, cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables, and much more.  They strive to provide the basic needs as well as adding items to their inventory to better assist the community.

Opening this store during the Coronavirus scare was not ideal for the Williams’ but they have stepped up to provide customer service at its finest.  They offer food delivery for seniors in the county that cannot come out due to the stay at home order, to ensure they have basic needs to keep themselves safe. They take orders all week and deliver to seniors on Sundays to start their week off fully stocked with essential needs for the upcoming week.

The Small Town Market is located on Main Street, Clay and is open Sunday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Stop in and see what they have to offer and stock up on your fresh meats and vegetables.
