Catherine Nottingham chosen as part of GSC Homecoming Court

The 2013 Glenville State College Homecoming Court was announced at the annual GSC Coronation Ceremony on September 30th. The court presided over all the week’s events including the homecoming dance, picnic, bonfire, parade, and football game on Saturday, October 5th.

GSC senior Elementary Education (K-6), General Math Education (5-9) and Science Education (5-9) major Kayleigh Huck was crowned the 2013 GSC homecoming queen. She is the daughter of Maria and Steve Huck of Delaware, Ohio.
GSC senior Evan Foster was crowned 2013 GSC homecoming king. He is a Criminal Justice major with a minor in Psychology. He is the son of Bruce and Carol Foster of Clarksburg (Harrison County), West Virginia.
Catherine Nottingham is a senior English major and Military Science minor at GSC. She was an independent queen candidate for the 2013 homecoming court. She is the daughter of Gary Nottingham of Duck of Clay County, West Virginia. Cat is a member of Student Government Association and ROTC. She is already serving in the Army National Guard and after graduation she plans to become an active duty military police officer in the U.S. Army. Cat appreciates the interesting professors take in the students and how friendly everyone is on campus. She puts it best when she says, “GSC might be small, but it has a lot of heart.”
GSC senior Andréa Osborne is an Elementary Education (K-6) and General Mathematics Education (5-9) major. She is married to Isac Osborne and is the daughter of Hugh and Sharon Haddad of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ezekiel Bonnett is a senior Psychology/Sociology major at GSC. His king nomination was sponsored by Alpha Rho Tau. He is the son of Daniel and Heather Bonnett of Glenville (Gilmer County), West Virginia.
Eric Plummer is a senior English major and Military Science minor. He was an independent king candidate for the 2013 GSC homecoming court. Plummer is the son of Carol Plummer of Princeton (Mercer County), West Virginia.
GSC junior Ethan Epling is a Natural Resource Management major with a concentration in Forest Technology. He is the son of L.D. Epling of Spencer (Roane County), West Virginia.
Kelsey Palmer was the 2013 sophomore homecoming court candidate. She is a Natural Resources Management major with a concentration in Business Management. She is the daughter of John and Deanna Palmer of Lost Creek (Harrison County), West Virginia.
Hali Kershner is a freshman English Education (5-adult) major. She was an independent candidate for the 2013 homecoming court. Hali is the daughter of Donovan Kersher and Vicki Clary of Ripley (Jackson Country), West Virginia.
Cody Mullens is a freshman Forest Technology major. He is the son of John and Debbie Mullens of Craigsville (Nicholas County), West Virginia.
