The next Executive Committee of the WV Statewide Independent Living Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the SILC office at 5010C Fairlawn Ave (Route 25) in Institute, WV.

 

Big Otter Elementary Holiday Craft Bazaar will be held November 3, 2018 from 8 a.m.– 4 p.m. at Big Otter Elementary, 59 Ossia Road, Duck, WV. To reserve your table please call 304-382-5400.

 

 The Clay County Business Development Authority is offering free local business advertising. If you wish to participate in this event, please call the BDA building to obtain an application and more information at 304-587-4166.

 

 CCDC/Clay Senior Center, located at 374 Main Street, announces that they will continue their free lunch for seniors ages 60+ on Thursdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. They invite any local talent to come sing, dance or do crafts with the seniors. For more information, call 304-587-2468.

 

The Clay County WIC office located at 452 Main Street in Clay is open to serve the public every Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. All central WV WIC offices will be closed on November 6 for Election Day, November 12 for Veterans Day, and November 22-23 for Thanksgiving. WIC provides supplemental foods and nutrition education to qualifying participants. To apply for the WIC program or to receive more information call: 304-587-2323.
