Employment applications for over 150 positions are now being accepted for the 2016 State Fair of West Virginia, scheduled for August 12-21. Previous employees interested in working in 2016 are encouraged to file an employment application by June 17. Employees receive customer service training and all positions pay at least minimum wage. Applicants must be available to work all 10 days of the fair, and able to work daytime and evening hours. The Clay County WIC Office located at 452 Main Street in Clay is open to serve the public every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 am – 4 pm. The Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) is a supplemental foods program for pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding women, infants and children, under the age of five.
