James L. Pitrolo Jr., Chairman of the West Virginia Health Care Authority announced that the Authority has issued a certificate of need to South Charleston Center LLC and Vine Properties LLC, Charleston, Kanawha County, CON File # 16-3-10738-NH, for the construction of a 90 bed post-acute care facility on the campus of Thomas Memorial Hospital located in South Charleston, Kanawha County, that will be a replacement facility for current licensed skilled and intermediate nursing facility beds transferred from Eastbrook Center LLC and Saint Francis Hospital, both located in Kanawha County. The capital expenditure associated with the proposal is $16,500,000.
