BJ Paige came away from a hunting trip this past week with a rare kill – a completely white deer. The animal lacked any pigmentation at all and had a solid white coat, pink eyes, and a pink nose making this deer truly an albino of the species. Killing the deer in the Big Otter area with a bow, Paige was extremely lucky. Since roughly only one in every 30,000 births produces an albino animal, just seeing an albino deer is in an unlikely occurrence. And in West Virginia, albinos are perfectly legal game.
