The Clay/Braxton Parents as Teachers Program would like to thank everyone who made their “Getting Fit with Fun and P.A.T.” day a huge success. All About Fun Inflatables were there with slides and bounce houses for the kids. Jody Stutler brought “Cars’” Lightening McQueen for the kids to enjoy. Mike Scott with Clay Fire Department had a fire truck there to spray the kids. They had face painting by Teresa Long from Maximus. Connie Posey with Central WV WIC was there to pass out information to families. All P.A.T children got a “My Parent Educator Me” T-shirt.
The winner of the Getting Fit With Parents as Teachers was Anita Stephenson. Stephenson logged the most physical activity and won a Fitbit.
