Williams, Casto, McKinney and Morton awarded 1st Team LKC

By Allen Hamrick

Panther football is in the news once again as some of the finest players to grace the Panther field have been named to the WV LKC All-Conference teams.  These boys worked hard and have been recognized for their accomplishments. Seniors Noah Casto, Jacob Morton, and Matteo McKinney, along with BJ Williams were granted the 1st Team LKC award.  They each played hard all season and gave the fans their money’s worth.  They tackled, sacked, caught, received ran touchdowns, recovered fumbles and were all over the field in every game on every play.  The award is well deserved and congratulations to each player.  No doubt these boys will be a force to reckon with whatever they do in the future.

Also grabbing the awards for 2nd team LKC were Noah Collins, Zane Minger and Brayden Black, players who undoubtedly put their grit on the line in every game.  These players will also be back next season and will make the Panther football team one of the best.   Getting honorable mention LKC was Landon Williams and Ayden Brown.  The Panther football team had one of the best seasons they have had in a long time this past season, and it is due to each of these players along with having one of the best benches in the league.  The Panthers will be back, and possibly even better, next season and will once again take a run at the state title.  Congratulations to these fine young men.
