On Friday evening the Clay High Panthers were at home playing against the Roane County Raiders.Wild Bill, from the hit TV show ‘Mountain Monsters on Destination America’, attended the game.

The TV series follows theAppalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings team, a band of six native West Virginian hunters and trappers who research and find evidence of unidentified creatures in the Appalachian Mountains.

Wild Bill is an expert tracker and big-game hunter, and a Clay County [Harrison] native. He is also a Marine Veteran. He is the right-hand man for Willy McQuilian on the hit TV series when it comes to building and setting traps. The majority of the monsters they hunt on the show are out of West Virginia, but some are also from Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia. In season three, episode five, the cast searches for “Bigfoot of Clay County.”

He visited the game on Friday evening and signed autographs, and took photos with many fans. Kids of all ages, and some adults, were very excited to be able to meet, chat and get their photo taken with Wild Bill himself. Thanks for coming, Wild Bill!
