West Virginia Archives and History will host a “Celebration of West Virginia Veterans” in the Archives and History Library at the Culture Center, State Capitol Complex, in Charleston on Friday, Nov. 8. The program will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The program will be divided into two segments, the first covering World War I to the Korean War, and the second segment addressing the Korean War and subsequent conflicts. Each segment will be followed by a panel-style question and answer session. The program will feature a diverse group of 10 guest speakers, including veterans, historians, authors, and representatives from museums and memorials. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided during a break between the two sessions.

For more information, contact Ella Preece at ella.s.preece@wv.gov or (304) 558-0230.
