The best attendance in the county goes to Myesscha Schoonover’s 4th grade students at Lizemore Elementary with a rate of 98.63%.  Pictured with Mrs. Schoonover’s students is Superintendent Phil Dobbins.

The classrooms with the best attendance at each school are as follows: Myesscha Schoonover’s 4th grade classroom at Lizemore Elementary led the county with a 98.63%, followed by Dawn Mullins’ K/1 classroom at H. E. White at 98.50%, and Megan Sears’ 3-year-old preschool classroom at 98.13%. Next came Shawn Krajeski’s classroom at Clay High School at 97.86%, followed by Nellie Elliott’s students at Clay Elementary School with a rate of 94.72% and finally Michell Hamrick’s and Pam Huffman’s students at Clay Middle School were tied with the same rate at 94.36%.

Congratulations to all the students at each school who had outstanding attendance. One of the three top indicators of success in the school system is good attendance.

Dawn Mullins’ K/1 students at H.E. White Elementary were runners up in the county with a rate of 98.50%.  Pictured with Ms. Mullins’ students are Principal Megan Starcher and Superintendent Phil Dobbins.
